- I recently upgraded to High Sierra. After the upgrade, Citrix Receiver would not function properly, so I upgraded to the latest Citrix Receiver update that was supposed to be compatible with High Sierra. Now I get the following error: 'The remote SSL peer sent a handshake error'.

Hi there!
Thanks for posting your concerns here in the Apple Communities! Excellent idea to uninstall and reinstall the Citrix app to verify that it is working as expected in a different browser. If Safari seems to be the issue, try removing any Extensions then clean up the browser by deleting Caches and web history.
If Safari doesnât load a page or webpage items are missing
The steps in the above link should have your Citrix app functioning as expected with your Safari browser. Let us know how it works out for you. Have a great day!

Citrix Receiver For Mac 12.6

One of my users tries to connect to a citrix netscaler environment using the receiver version 12.8 on mac os high sierra 10.13. Login succeeds, and the plugin notifies the user that the connection is established. The list of applications is presented, but when the user clicks on the icon to be directed to the xenapp server the browser prompts that the server cannot be found. This happens in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. It seems like all traffic is blocked or not being routed. I have tested this with my own macbook running the same version of both the OS and the receiver, and it works fine.
What we tested so far:
- Disabled build-in MacOS firewall
- Disabled third-party antivirus software

- Allowed websites to use the citrix receiver plugin in Safari
Citrix Receiver For Mac 10.5
- Disabled IPv6 in the network settings (This is known to cause issues).
Any setting that I might have overlooked and can interfere with the receiver software? both the netscaler gateway plugin and the citrix receiver plugin are installed, and with both plugins there seems to be no data transported between the client and the server environment.

Many thanks in advance.
